If you are extremely hungry don't take some foods to satisfy your appetite .
When someone is in severe appetite, they want to eat whatever
food is in front. However, experts say, there are some foods that cannot be
eaten on an empty stomach even if they are extremely hungry.
Sour meal: It might be too late to eat lunch. Because of
this, you may take spicy food. But it is not right to eat such food at this
time. Experts say that eating spicy food on an empty stomach will have a direct
impact on the stomach lining. So you can eat milk or yogurt before eating spicy
food. It will not directly affect the pelvis.
Fruit: Don’t eat fruit on an empty stomach. Specially,
eating citrus fruits increases acidity and it is better to eat protein-rich
foods with fruits. Especially eating small amount of nuts, peanut butter or
cheese with the fruit will be beneficial to the body. But you can drink apple
juice on empty stomach because it improves digestive system of body.
Coffee: If you have gastric problems, it is extremely
harmful to drink coffee on an empty stomach.
Biscuits and Chips: It is also not advisable to eat chips or
biscuits during severe periods. Because a small packet of biscuits or chips
won't last long. The carbohydrates contained in such foods will be digested in
a few moments. Then the tendency to eat again will increase. In that case, eat
a little more calorie foods like a sandwich or cake.
There are seven foods to eat on an empty stomach:
1. Nuts –It improves your digestive health
by normalizing the PH levels of your stomach and decreases the risk of ulcers
and excess stomach acid.
2. Honey – It helps awaken your immune and
digestive systems. Helps with lazy bowel syndrome and other stomach issue.
3. Watermelon - full of electrolytes and
low in calorie, it provides good amount of fluid when consumed on an empty
stomach.
4. Papaya -It releases a powerful enzyme
called papain, which aids good digestion.
5. Dates – It helps to instantly boost
energy. Rich in soluble fibres and potassium which helps in improving digestion
and relieving constipation.
6. Oatmeal -It creates a protective
coating around the lining of the stomach and this prevents hydrochloric acid
from damaging stomach walls.
7. Eggs - The egg white contains good
protein that helps in increasing the body metabolism and also help in burning
more calories.
